Mr. Renato Poletti was appointed President of the Foundation Science and Faith-STOQ and President of the Foundation for Heritage and Cultural and Artistic Activities of the Church by Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture. Mr. Poletti has had a long career in government administration starting in 1983. He holds a degree in Forestry and Environmental Sciences from the University of Padua. Mr. Poletti was Treasurer Counsellor of the Court of the Gentiles Foundation, until October 2014, and in June 2014 was appointed as Member of the Foundation Board “Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza” in San Giovanni Rotondo (FG) by Vatican Secretary of State Card. Pietro Parolin.
In addition, Mr. Poletti was Director General of Information Services, Statistical and Communication of the Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport starting February 2012 and Director General for Airports and Air Transport of the Ministry for Infrastructure and Transport starting November 2014.
In 2007 Mr. founded and became president of the “Association of the University College of the ex-students of the Abbey of Santa Giustina in Padua,” as well as served as Vice President of institutes gathered Santa Rita of Cascia-Foundation Mastrocola (Diocese of Macerata-Tolentino-Recanati-Cingoli-Treia) which represented the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
